BAROQUE RECORDER FINGERINGS
(sometimes called "modern" or "English" fingerings)


RECORDER IN C (soprano or descant & tenor)
1st OCTAVE FINGERINGS (low notes)
 
2nd OCTAVE FINGERINGS
 
3rd OCTAVE FINGERINGS (high notes)
 
 
● = closed ○ = open ø = partially closed
LH = left hand RH = right hand

Some 3rd octave notes require the bell to be closed (with the knee or a bell key).

Where several fingerings are indicated, the most appropriate for a given instrument should be used.
